Some very thought provoking statements in your slide share file... one that hit the hardest was "if a computer can replace the teacher; he deserves to be..." Makes sense to me...

Hi Colleen, Thought I would share my 'Food for thought' chocolate recipe for a hot fudge pudding...Mix 1 cup plain flour, 3/4 cup castor sugar, 2 tabs cocoa and pinch salt in an ungreased square baking dish. Mix in 1/2 cup milk, 2 tabs oil and 1 tsp vanilla with a fork until smooth.  Stir in 1 cup roughly chopped walnuts.  Spread evenly in dish and sprinkle with 1 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.  Slowly pour 1 3/4 cups very hot water (be careful ) over batter. Microwave uncovered on medium for 9 minutes or until top is almost dry. ENJOY cheers Mich

“Stick to the work at home schedule so that the part time work at home arrangement for this year does not impinge on other life and personal space.  To assist in this strategy have a meeting with my manager and then write a schedule of work with night and day sessions clearly delineated and stick to it!”  Good luck with this endeavor let me know how you go.

I noted on your chart how small a % formal training was, what a shame…….. I don’t regret for a minute the time and efforts I have put into insuring I’m better trained.

    Hi Colleen

I read and posted a comment on your CCK08 Moodle Forum post - "What makes a connection".
I too am looking at How and Who I am connecting with thru the CCK08 course. If you are interested visit My Blog (at Connecting Online C009 NING site).

I hadn't used NING before - so just trying it out. Now you have introduced me to another community site XANGA - so I guess I'll try it out as well.
One problem I already see with Social community sites is that I will end up belonging to lots of communities and spread myself too wide and not have the time to keep up with them all.  Maybe I need to find myself a central hub & just put a link to it on all my community sites?
    What are your thoughts?
I look forword to reading your blog and sharing ideas.Cheers Jenni  (Perth, WA)
P.S.  My father originated from Far North Qld - Collinsville.  Where are you? Where is Mission Beach?

    Hi Colleen,

I like your site -- I'm new to blogging and I see there have been helpful

courses that you hve ben involved with -- mentioned on this site.

The CCK08 course is keeping me very busy and I find I that my other

Athabasca University course is a lot too, so I'm behind in the CCK08 one -

I haven't registered my blog though I have two - a new one on Xanga, and

one on e blogger.  I will  be improving -- and thanks for connecting. Jo

Hello there Colleen, it's gr8 to be part the the E-Learning journey and finding out about the various communication tools which are so easily accessable, unyet, now that i think about it I probably would  never have delved in doing so if it wasn't for this particular course.  Cheers Michelle

Hi Colleen, thanks for getting me sorted with Xanga. It's amazing how something so easy, if you know how, can become so frustrating, if you haven't a clue. You can check it out now http://www.xanga.com/Pamcarr. Thanks again, Pam
